When shopping for a vehicle, I wanted something that would be comfortable and fuel efficient for my 148 mile round trip daily commute. I test drove several vehicles, and landed on the Bronco Sport. The Big Bend has just enough options to make commuting easier. Best of all? I am averaging 33-35mpg on the highway and have seen it as high as 42mpg when cruising at 60mph.

This is my first and last Ford. I went with the Badlands trim and was excited about this car as it does do the things I need it do to - space for my large dog in the back, ability to have the rear window open, adequate space for passengers, pretty good gas mileage on 87 octane, decent power, looks great. If this typical of Ford builds, I am not sure, but the build quality is terrible. Brand new car rattles from multiple locations inside the cabin, has a persistent squeak from under the hood, and a creaking noise when pressing down or letting up on the gas peddle.

I bought a '25 Bronco as I was sold on the idea that it is capable of Off Road driving. Buzzkill, it is not. Why? The idiots only offer 4 play tires. Four puny plies will not get you far Off Road no mater what rig you are driving. I live Off Road and within a month I had flats. It's never good to combine 'flats' with "Off Road" since Off Road can put you out of cell service that would assist in towing, repair, etc. The rig comes with only one spare, but with 4 ply, you have the possibility of four flats. They, the industry, does this with many 4x4/Off Road rigs. They'll only give a credit of $50 per tire if you want them to take the unacceptable tire back. This sends you to a price gouging tire dealer to by four, or five new tires for you new truck, and four unacceptable new tire to store. It's not fair, and should be a criminal act to risk people's lives with unacceptable tires for the purpose they are sold for. It's bad, Bad, Bad! Anyone want to buy a '25 Bronco Outlander for $6000? Let me know. I have very low miles due to my knowing better to drive it much. Cheers, BW

We've only had our 2025 Bronco Sport four months. And so far so great. With 6k+ miles it's been on an eighteen hundred mile trip that include mountain driving. The performance and handling has been great and the fuel efficiency is averaging 32 mpg since it rolled off the lot (I'm a conservative driver but not the guy you hate being behind on the road). We especially like the retro style. In today's market, the smaller SUV's for the most part look the same (jelly beans on wheels). The square finish and safari roof really sets the Bronco Sport apart. The 3 cylinder turbo engine was tough to process. However, it's an engine that delivers plenty of peep off the line and passing power on the freeway. It's won this skeptic over! The interior is roomy and comfortable. The controls and gauges are intuitive. The safety driving package is amazing along with the 5 star "safety" rating. This vehicle cost less to insure then our nine year old Ford Focus with identical coverage. If you want something that's diffrent in the SUV class, fun to drive, and that will turn heads, then the the Bronco Sport is it.

Bought it new in 2022, has had countless recalls since then. Had to get the rear differential replaced last year. Had an antifreeze leak before that, and gets cracks in the windshield way too easy. It’s been twice now i’ve had to replace the windshield!! Problems with the light socket burning out for the blinker light, and the fan makes a weird noise under the hood. Stutters, fuel injector problem. Never buying Ford again.

You name it, it probably has gone wrong with this vehicle. That's why Consumer Reports put it on their "Used Vehicles to Avoid" list. Ford will not stand behind it, and I doubt any of them would dare to stand in front of it either. This vehicle is based on the 2000-2012 Ford Escape. That was a solid vehicle, not a lot of problems. Ford managed to take a good vehicle and make it a lousy vehicle. They had 12yrs of experience with this platform and managed to mess it up.

My Bronco sport has been great to me. No mechanical issues. It is small but mighty. The stature makes it feel hefty but it is nimble while driving and in parking lots. Wish the MPG was a little better.
Black Diamond package looks cool.
Wind noise, lugs at low speeds and depreciation
Title of my review clearly conveys my sentiments. Bought a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport with the Black Diamond and Convenience Packages. MSRP was $38,008. Looked cool but was underwhelming on how it drove. Louder than average wind noise. At low speeds car always felt it was in a higher gear than it should have been. Felt like it would stall out. Technology and safety features were nice. Black Diamond package also gives you a trailering package and a front bull bar which looks cool. Didn’t experience any issues with the vehicle just not for my liking. Worst part is if you buy one expect to keep it a long time because they don’t hold their value. Right after purchasing it the same dealer where I bought was going to give me $10,000 less than I paid and it was already discounted by $7k when I bought it. If you are going to buy one, do not get a higher end trim or you’ll lose even more money. My recommendation is go with the Big Bend at least with the convenience package and Black Diamond if you like that look and don’t pay more than $25k. Hope this helps.

I will never buy another ford. It’s my first and last. I have a 2021 ford bronco sport, there’s been at least 6 recalls. The torque converter needed replacing at only 50k miles, still having transmissions issues. Things rattle under the hood all the time. If you want to spend your hard earned money on a vehicle that will last, do not choose ford.
Have 2021 Ford Bronco for 2 years. Has 94,000 miles on it. Transmission went bad. I think there is an internal defect on these. Lots of recalls since Ive had it. Not happy with it.
