Positive Review
Just received our Fisker Ocean extreme. Fisker has done a great job creating some competition for the Model Y and Rivian R1S. The Ocean has a beautiful / aggressive design and the ride quality is excellent. The vehicle is solidly built. Highly recommend test driving a Fisker if you are shopping electric.
Critical Review
we now know the company has went bankrupt. there are many recalls and software problems that will never be fixed now. the water pump problems, heat and cool vent problems, door handle problems, key fob problems, many cases of the car being bricked, many of the features of the car just don't work because of software problems, and lets not forget you wont be getting any parts if your car gets damaged. be prepared for the 5 thousand dollars to get your windshield replaced and im sure that will be the case for any parts you may need down the road.

Inexpensive EV luxury SUV, comfortable and quiet ride, good range on battery
Company defunct so it relies on a network of community supported mechanics and service. (Although the support is phenomenal)
I was hesitant to purchase one of these in the beginning due to the company being defunct. However, I have been pleasantly surprised. I'm now over 3,000 miles on mine and it has been an absolute joy to own. I signed up for OceanLoop so I receive the OTA software updates and they have made this an amazing car to own. It's very well built, has loads of torque, and gets tons of compliments and looks as it is very clearly a unique car by design. There are tons of 'easter eggs' to discover with these as they have all kinds of unique features. While I realize this may not be a car for everyone as it requires community support, the support is amazing. I'm honestly thrilled that I took a chance on this car. Hopefully it continues to be trouble free. Definitely the best EV you'll find under $20,000.00 and you get the bonus of a unique vehicle that stands out in the crowd.
Solar Roof
Afraid of Puddles
Some EVs are released without lots of features with the promise of future software releases, but those are never coming. It is no longer connected to a cloud so any updates you missed have to be loaded manually and those don't add any features just address the NHTSA recalls. Worse than that are front range finder isn't functional so adaptive cruise won't work in the rain (camera sort of works on a clear day). The biggest problem in my opinion is that there are dozens of connectors located around the bottom of the vehicle that are NOT designed to keep water and dirt out. There are tons of videos out showing which connectors are most problematic and these should all be inspected, packed with dielectric grease, and wrapped up tight if you want to drive this through even a puddle! My car had tons of error codes making it unreliable as my daily driver. I got rid of it in favor of a better EV.
None
Everything
Don't be fooled, this is not a vehicle for anyone that expects their car to just operate when they want to drive. Between the key fob battery and the 12V battery in the car always dead; this car can leave you stranded in so many situations. Worst than that if you happen to be inside the Fisker when the 12V dies, you can find yourself in my situation where I was trapped and had to call 911 and have the emergency response team break a window to free me. This car is gone. I refuse to drive this ever again.
Easy to find in the parking lot
Might not be able to drive away for parking lot
First impression was it's a nice looking compact SUV. Then you hit "unlock" and assuming the key fob isn't dead (it eats through batteries - about 1 a month), you will hear a nasty shreak of the handles and mirrors moving into positions. Then you may still be unable to open the car because the handles don't aways work and you might go through Lock/Unlock cycles to clear the issue. Then some of the windows will stop working and will need recalibration. Additionally the vents might not open so you can't control the Heating/Cooling. Of course the screen goes black or freezes and you can reset that from the steering wheel, but very annoying. This car has been one issue after another I'm not surprised that even Fisker himself doesn't want to deal with them anymore.

No
Reliability, value, etc
Talk about a junker, this is it. Worthless vehicle that just has to many issues. I'm even having a hard time trying to trade it in. The resale value drop is a big disappointment. Uncomfortable seating after awhile of driving. Terrible ride, no quality. Walk away from this vehicle, do yourself a favor.

This Is a Great unique SUV , that really turns heads while I’m driving and delivers a smooth and sporty driving experience. I love my ocean 1
The build of the car and the way it drives is great. The software is incomplete and features are incomplete at this time but are coming out this year. I love this car and can’t wait to see the full potential of this car once all the OTA updates are implemented.
