Positive Review
It has been my first car ever from mid high school out to college. I put on about 10000 miles a year driving up and down from southern NM to mid CO for 4years straight. And I never had a problem with mechanical cause of my maintenance habits. Big fault in the manufacture is that eagles' paint job was horrible. I couldn’t wax without damaging the paint. In all fairness, it’s a great transportation car!!!
Critical Review
I had the TSi model with a large engine, really loved this car, decent horsepower, great brakes, roomy interior. Bought the car used at 20K, then it need a new transmission every 20K miles until I sold it(dealer warranty are great, $3K+ a replacement back then). Been looking for a replacement, but everytime I find one I like, the ECM has trouble codes that says something is up with the transmission

Runs and runs -no mechanical problems
I love this car. I have never had a moments' problem after I had the oxygen sensor fixed when I first bought the car 5 years ago. It starts in the winter fast, it warms up fast, it drives great in all weather. I had never heard of an Eagle before I bought this one. This car has given me far fewer problems than all the Chryslers and Fords I owned in the past. At this rate, I may never own another car-this one is like the Ever Ready Bunny-it just goes and goes.
This car purrs like a kitten, runs like the devil on Sunday.
At the time, it was a great car. fast, maneuverable and fun to drive
good performance for a sedan, not bad gas mileage
Transmission needed replacing every 20K miles

Good hp, acceleration, fun to drive, reliable
None
I'm going to cry when it's sold!
Great in snow and on ice. No damage
Big, but doesn't look or feel that big.
No manual transmission, getting old by now
Nice car, but I always wished they offered a manual transmission. I liked it when they were new when I was in high school, and I still like it now, with the back seat full of car seats. You can actually get three in the back seat! Decent power, decent fuel economy, not stellar on either, but you can't very well have both! Even though it was a large midsized sedan, my grandmother still wondered whose "little car" that was!
ROOMY
I can hear my turning signal click in my speakers.
The tie rod bushings went bad at 121,000 but havent had any other problems with it at all.
