I purchased this car new in 2000. Very few problems. The sad part is Daewoo auto division went out of business within two years of purchasing the vehicle. Replacement parts are becoming very rare.

This car is an excellent car for anyone that needs parts. It was t boned but the engine runs and all the parts work and it has been driven after the incident.

I have had my Daewoo for 3.5 years now. Bought it with approx. 70K miles for <$2500. This was my very first car and At first I was very skeptical because it seemed toooo good to be true. But over the 3 short years I had no major mechanical issues, just routine things (until recently). People kept telling me that I shouldnt have bought a Daewoo because of the whole bankruptcy thing and that parts would be extremely expensive/difficult to get. I never experienced an issue with getting parts. My recent issues have been the wheel bearings worn and camshaft position sensor and a small mystery oil leak. Because these repairs would cost me over $1000 I have decided to look for a newer car. I loved my car because it held me up well, even with a 600K roadtrip, but now I'm ready to part ways with it :(

I bought this car new in 2001. Now with 127,000 miles. The only things that I have replaced is the timing belt, radiator (because it had a plastic body), and been through 3 batteries. Not bad for 10 years! This car still runs great! Most cars rarely max Rpms above 4Gs, but this car has always revved between 5 and 6 Gs every time you push on the gas a little too hard. 2.2 L4 that gets 30 plus on the highway and 20 plus in the city! It is a shame that this company went the way of so many car companies lately, Bankrupt due to poor management! In the coming week I will replace some vacuum and heater hoses for only a few dollars. I have not made a car payment since 2005, which has allowed my wife to drive a much nicer car,and she has now been through 3 since I bought this. Love it, love it, love it! I should get 200k miles out of this baby!

Equivalent features and quality to cars costing more than twice as much (Honda's Toyotas). Reliable and good handling,good solid body. A touch small on the interior for those over 6 ft 250lbs. Engine always starts and runs fine, but would be better with a few more horsepower (this is not a sports car!).

Very very reliable car.. we bought our Leganza new in 01 it is the CDX model which is the most expensive but well worth every penny. we have over two hundred twenty two thousand miles on it now and it still runs and drives perfect!!! I want another one!!! We give the Leganza 5 STARS
