CPO

Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned Program

As the luxury arm of Ford Motor Co., Lincoln must elevate its brand presence to compete with other luxury brands and differentiate itself from nonluxury Ford vehicles. This is evident in the cars themselves and in Lincoln-branded services like the Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned program.

Starting in 2026, Lincoln’s CPO program will have two tiers: Signature and Select Certification.

Both tiers include:

  • A 14-day or 1,000-mile Money Back Guarantee, meaning you can return or exchange your Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned vehicle with participating dealerships
  • Optional service plan packages to increase warranty and cover maintenance costs
  • Complimentary 24/7 roadside assistance for qualifying vehicles
  • Service perks like complimentary car washes after service, Lincoln Loaner vehicles during service, and vehicle delivery after service for qualifying vehicles at participating dealerships
  • Access to Lincoln’s 24/7 Client Relationship Center
  • Access to Lincoln Mobile Service

Certification Tiers

Signature Certification

Lincoln’s Signature CPO tier includes a 6-year warranty from the original Lincoln New-Vehicle Limited Warranty start date, or up to 100,000 miles. Coverage includes repair or replacement of covered parts. To qualify, models must pass a 200-point inspection, with any parts that do not meet the criteria repaired or replaced. Vehicles in this tier will not be older than the current model year plus five model years, and will have fewer than 60,000 miles on the odometer.

Select Certification

Lincoln’s Select CPO tier provides a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty from the date of purchase. Qualification requires passing a 139-point inspection, with any item that does not meet the criteria repaired or replaced. Vehicles in this tier will be no older than the current model year plus seven model years and will have fewer than 80,000 miles.
