As the smallest and least expensive models of their respective luxury marques, the 2025 Acura Integra and 2025 Cadillac CT4 are tasked with delivering a balance of value and refinement. In this regard, we’ve found the Integra and CT4 perform admirably. Neither cuts corners in design or engineering.
Now in its third model year, the Acura Integra lineup is topped by the sporty Type S. Replacing the usual 200-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder found in the regular Integra, the Type S employs the 320-hp turbo 2.0-liter 4-cylinder unit and 6-speed manual transmission from Honda’s thrilling Civic Type R.
Having debuted for the 2020 model year, the Cadillac is available with a choice of three turbocharged 4-cylinder engines or a twin-turbo V6. The mighty CT4-V Blackwing is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Let’s explore how these two machines stack up against each other.
2025 Acura Integra
With a starting price of $33,595 (including destination), the entry-level 2025 Acura Integra is costs thousands less than rival small luxury sedans, including the CT4. It’s available in base, A-Spec, A-Spec w/Technology, and Type S versions.
Acura Integra Highlights
Spirited engines: We think the vast majority of Integra buyers will be more than happy with the acceleration and economy provided by the standard 200-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. It’s paired with either a continuously variable automatic transmission or — in the A-Spec w/Technology trim — a 6-speed manual with precise linkage. However, the 320-hp turbo 4-cylinder unit in the Type S steals the show. Hit the gas, start clicking through the gears, and you’ll reach 60 mph in about five seconds.
Interior space, cargo volume: Despite petite proportions, the Integra has a user-friendly cabin with a reasonable amount of headroom and legroom, no matter where you’re seated. And the handy liftgate opens to reveal 23.4 cubic feet of cargo space — more than double what many competing small luxury sedans provide.
Excellent value: Price-wise, the Integra undercuts rivals from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, and Cadillac. An Integra A-Spec w/Technology comes loaded with tech and safety features, yet still stickers at $38,595.
ELS audio system: The optional 16-speaker ELS audio setup in the Integra is superb, with crystal-clear sound.

2025 Cadillac CT4

The 2025 Cadillac CT4 has a starting price of $36,390 (including destination). Trim levels are Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, CT4-V, and CT4-V Blackwing. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional with all but the seriously sporty Blackwing. As the range’s most potent and expensive CT-4, the Blackwing starts at $63,590.
Cadillac CT4 Highlights
Super Cruise: Cadillac’s much-lauded Super Cruise hands-free driving system becomes optional at the Premium Luxury trim level. It operates on more than 400,000 miles of pre-mapped roads throughout North America. It can even make automatic lane changes.
Standard features: Cadillac hasn’t been reticent about loading the CT4 with standard features. Even the base Luxury trim has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless device charging, dual-zone climate control, and power-adjustable front seats.
Performance of V-Series models: A 325-hp turbocharged 2.7-liter 4-cylinder is in the CT4-V, linked to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and comes with rear- or all-wheel drive. This Caddy is quick, the CT4-V Blackwing is wilder. A twin-turbocharged V6 sends 472 hp to the rear wheels via a choice of a 10-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission. Hold on, because the Blackwing streaks to 60 mph in less than four seconds.

Similarities
There is a meaningful amount of overlap between the 2025 Integra and 2025 CT4 — both are compact yet premium driver’s cars aimed at a luxury audience. Both are less expensive than most rivals, and provide highly respected performance versions for added bravado. They also have identical warranties.
Conclusion
The Acura Integra’s agility, low price, and snarling Type S model give it a youthful vibe. Compared to the Cadillac CT4, it also has more rear legroom and a roomier cargo area. Yes, the Integra is based on the same front-drive underpinnings as the current Honda Civic. Considering how good the Civic has proven itself to be, though, this isn’t a downside.
The Cadillac CT4 looks and feels more grown up. The standard 237-hp 2.0-liter turbo 4-cylinder powertrain works perfectly well, but we think the punchier turbo 2.7-liter gives this compact Caddy sport sedan more personality. Going to the ultimate level, the CT4-V Blackwing is fiercely quick and wonderfully entertaining.
The Integra has the CT4 beat in legroom and luggage space. The CT4 is more of a compact muscle sedan, one that holds the upper hand in standard and modern tech like Super Cruise.
It’s a bit of a cop-out, but this decision could really come down to personal taste. We are Kelley Blue Book, though, so we also consider resale values, which would make the Acura a clear winner.
