Positive Review
I must admit that I have mixed feelings on my purchase. With only 650 miles I have had service as at highway speeds I had vibrations and the passenger seat electronics are bad and needed to order parts, a little concerned with only 650 miles and this wasn't an inexpensive purchase. My past Tahoe ran like a champ with 165,000 miles, my only reason for getting rid of it was it had an oil leak, rear main.
Critical Review
My 4x4 LTZ Tahoe drives like it is on a railroad track. With extensive experience driving the older LTZ Tahoes and Suburbans, I can tell you the ride quality on the 15 LTZ is completely lacking. I purchased this car because of the premium, magnetic suspension, and I have been thoroughly disappointed, as the ride is unbearably harsh. I am almost contemplating trading this car in unless GM fixes this, as I cant imagine driving this thing for another 5+ years. I must say GM did do a fine job with the refresh overall though. I just wish the ride was much more comfortable.

Strong and smooth. Very stylish exterior
Bad reputation of transmission issues
In 2023, I purchased a 2016 Tahoe LT with 71k miles. It was black with grey interior. Black 22-inch wheels and grey leather seats. We added a 15 inch pull down TV for long road trips. The vehicle was solid for us up until we sold it with 113k miles in 2026. I maintained it with synthetic Mobile 1 oil changes and filter every 5k miles. I replace thermostat, coolant sensor and MAS sensor at about 95k miles. The previous owner replaced AC components at 70k miles according to the carfax and I replaced it again at 104k miles. Besides oil changes and air filters, I invested about $950 over 42k miles. I runs and drives great, very smooth. I would definitely purchase another one from this generation. The V8 power is great and gas mileage is decent. We moved to a Ford Expedition with 30k miles because of mileage and it's much larger inside than the Tahoe. Anyone looking at this generation Tahoe should make sure it was maintained well and feel comfortable purchasing. It was a great vehicle for my family.
Excellent condition. 102000 miles. Sits on my lake property on lake Tuscaloosa Ala and only used for 8 weekend trips a year.
Almost thought it was a scam my truck sold so fast. Wore was in the bank the next day and Tahoe picked up in less than a week from dealer

Best truck and suv combined
Great vehicle when running.
Mechanical failures galore.
Bought this vehicle used, with 115,000 miles on it. It wasn't driven much (stepson took it to school and back), but 6 months later the transmission died. Another 6 months and the engine died. I have driven other brands (e.g. Toyota) that go hundreds of thousands of miles with very little problems (routine maintenance was adhered to), so I can't understand why in this day and age Chevy can't figure out how to make quality products...
2020 chevy tahoe Lt Super comfy, great ride, but will be spending over $4,000 to rebuild transmission under 100K miles.... they don't make or price them like they used to!
Transmisión no good this car need a recall from Chevrolet is a 100k miles transmission for v8 motor ridiculous
One of the best suvs around good space for passengers built quality is good aswell just the paint needed to be more stronger but its alright for me but overall i give it a 5
