Positive Review
Finally, a perfect match! The 6.2L 420hp option mates so well with the new 10 speed. Power, comfort, convenience, reliability. Best truck Chevy built since 2012 Silverado’s.
Critical Review
The problem with this truck is GM, they sell you a vehicle that is known defective, the 8 speed transmission cannot be fixed it has been a problem since they designed it, They just don't care, the rear sliding glass window leaks all 19,20,21 windows will leak frames crack, yet they still use the same part without changing it, This is the classic just sell it ...their are new customers born every day, well I am 51 years old and I am the demographic that buys gm, young people don't buy their grandfathers brand vehicle, anyway I'm so disappointed and mad I have been cheated out of $56,000.00 and now have to look for another vehicle, all my cars I drive well over 60-70 k this one has 11k. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GM PRODUCT.

I’ve been driving my 2025 Silverado LT Trail Boss TurboMax for a bit now, and I’ve got to say, Chevy really nailed a lot of things with this truck. The updated interior (2022) is one of the biggest highlights — the refresh looks modern, clean, and feels way more premium than the previous setup. The Trail Boss package itself is a head-turner too. The factory 2-inch lift and all the blacked-out accents give it that perfect aggressive look without going over the top. On the road, it’s surprisingly smooth for an off-road-oriented truck. Chevy did a solid job balancing capability with everyday comfort. The revised 8-speed (the 2024 update) shifts better than I expected — no weird hunting or hesitation, just clean, predictable shifts. The TurboMax engine gets decent fuel economy for a full-size truck, which has been a nice bonus. There are a few things I’m not crazy about, though. The seats are on the stiffer side, definitely firmer than I’d prefer on longer drives. The infotainment system also has a bit of lag here and there, which can get annoying when you're trying to quickly switch apps or settings. On the practical side, the bed space is huge — plenty of room for hauling whatever I need. And I appreciate the option to choose between heated back seats only or both back and rear; little flexibility details like that go a long way. Overall, the LT Trail Boss has been a great mix of style, comfort, and capability. Not perfect, but definitely a truck I enjoy driving every day.
This vehicle is solid as a rock. I love this truck. The turbo four cylinder - was my choice and found out it was the right choice. I don't tow with it but - I asure you this truck is quick! @ 310 horsepower it will light up the tires from a standstill. That turbo is impactful when you need it and that twin turbo has just the right rumble. This Chevy Truck still turns heads..
LIFE LONG CUSTOMER, DRIVING HOME AND TRUCK SHUTS OFF, ONLY 30K MILES ON TRUCK. TURNS OUT IT WAS A FUEL PUMP MODULE WITH A BAD CHIP THAT GM KNOWS ABOUT AND HAS BEEN REPLACING ON A REGULAR BASIS'S (ACCORDING TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AT THE DEALERSHIP). I PAID FOR THE TOW TRUCK CHARGES TO THE DEALERSHIP. STILL UNDER WARRANTY, SO I SUMMITED A CLAIM THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE. CLAIM SUMMITED ON 8/13/2025, AND FINALLY APPROVED ON THE WEEK OF 11/3/2025. SO THE PROBLEM IS, THE TOW BILL WAS JUST OVER $267.00, AND THEY SENT A CHECK FOR $105.15. NOT A HAPPY CHEVY OWNER. TRYING TO GET THROUGH TO THE CLAIM REP IS A MAJOR PAIN. ALWAYS GOES TO A VOICE MAIL, THIS IS A PROBLEM THAT GM KNOWS ABOUT AND WILL FIX ONLY AFTER IT FAILS. DUE TO THIS ISSUE AND AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS, I WILL BE CONSIDERING GOING TO ANOTHER BRAND IN THE FUTURE. ALL I WANTED WAS A REIMBURSEMENT OF MY TOW CHARGES.
Lots of power. Great styling
Gas gushers
I've own my truck for about 7 months now with no concerns after 7500 mi. The only issue was the infotainment system froze twice. There's no way to reset it that I no of but after shutting the truck off for about 15mins worked both times. It's more annoying than anything. I got to admit after reading some of these reviews really concerns me. But I'm a happy customer at this point. WishMELUCK!
Luxurious
Gas mileage
I looked at every truck in this class and I preferred the Chevy hands down. It’s fun to drive and extremely comfortable. Yes, gas mileage is terrible, but it’s a truck with a V8. What would you expect? The Dodge didn’t drive as well, the Ford had cheap materials in the trim, and GMC was more money for the same truck! Buy the Silverado 1500LTZ. Luxury, power, and toughness in one package.
Crazy good MPG with diesel

Crazy good miles per gallon. Hardy, powerful and looks great too! This baby deisel is perfect for towing my trailer and UTV and bass boat. Seriously impressed.
Purchased Silverado Custom in 2024. Now at 22k miles and zero issues. Plenty of power from the 2.7T and smooth shifting. Great economic option if you don’t need a 5.3 or 6.2 engine (90% of you). Avg 21.4mpg. Very spacious. Very comfy.

We stopped to window shop 15 min to close. 2 hours later, we were driving off in my new vehicle.
