We haven't owned this truck long, but WOW. We have owned three GM pickups since 1995, and this truck topped all of them by a long shot. The roominess of the crewcab is second to none IMHO, and the ride is spectacular (rides better than my Impala LS does!). The fuel economy isn't bad either if I can keep my wife from putting the pedal to the metal. I believe we could average around 20 to 25 mpg, even with the 5.3 liter engine if we tried a little harder, but with the power at the ready, it is hard to refrain from punching it and hearing the grumble from under the hood. It has all the power we need and then some. I am impressed with the way the truck performs in all aspects, plus asthetics.

I'm giving extra credit to this truck because of the age. Although far from perfect, the engine starts every time and performs well. Despite the poor condition of the suspension the handling is good. However there is no excuse for the low quality of the body assembly and chassis. Suspension parts should not fall off as you drive down the road. Doors are supposed to open unless there is body damage to prevent their operation. Heavy tail light assemblies should be held in place by more than two small screws. Parts do wear out over time, but everything I've listed could have been prevented by proper welds, better hardware quality and adequate engineering.

I bought this truck Memorial Day 2005, with 7 miles on it. Now 21 years later the only issues I have had with this awesome truck is the electronics in the dashboard. From the CD player to problems with A/C. The drive system is as strong as it was on day one! The best 👌 value i have ever ❤️ spent on a vehicle in my life! (This is number 7 or 8 that I have owned vehicle wise)

Great shape, 78,000 original miles. New A/C compressor , new master brake cylinder. Carpet floors, towing pkg.
This is a four-wheel-drive Chevy Silverado in great shape got good tires. Everything works cold air conditioner.
It's simple, I wanted to know what my truck was worth. And I got nothing. I spent a half hour going through there entire program explaining the details. And half of that time was navigating past a plethora of ads. I remember the old KB that I would use and it used to take a minute or so to get information on how much I should ask, how much to sell quickly. KB you are not good.
I bought the truck used with 50,000 miles . I now have 267k +. Great gas mileage. Recently changed the Heater core it started to leak. Changed Water pump and Alternator. I didn’t need any issues down the road. My Dad always said. You take care of your vehicles your vehicles will take care of you! 😉🙃 2001 5.3 and goin strong!! 💪🏽🫡
Went through the whole process and wouldn’t show me the value of my truck. Waisted 15 minutes trying to figure it out and still no number.
