One of the best vehicles I have owned. I clean it weekly, keep the engine clean maintain it properly and the Monte Carlo just keeps running very nicely.

Monte Carlo’s reliability and value
Pros

Reliable, fuel efficient yet plenty of power.

Cons

Sensitive Emission Control System.

I purchased my 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo Ls with the 3.4 in July 2020 with only 52k miles on it. The Monte gets an average of 24 to 25 mpg. It’s comfortable and is a nice everyday driver. The only major problem that I’ve had with it is the repeated problems with the Emission Control System needing several of it’s components replaced over time.

Great car

I’ve owned my Monte Carlo for 18 years and it has been amazing. Reliable and still runs and looks great!

A fantastic car

Not much

I just bought my 2nd Monte Carlo. I've had an 06 and and now an 07 SS, and absolutely love these cars. Beautiful style, extremely dependable, roomy, comfortable solid cars. The V6 and V8 are both great engines and I put 100k miles on my 06 with the 3.5 with no issues..Fantastic cars you won't regret buying.

The best vehicle I’ve EVER owned in my 68 years!!!

Great gas mileage, smooth ride, excellent car!

None!

My red Monte Carlo is the bomb!!! 321,000 miles and it’s still going! Smooth ride as ever! Great gas mileage! I love it! I’m sure it’ll outlast me! I very highly recommend!

My 2nd car and I love it. Hard to find parts tho.
Pros

So fun to drive! And very comfortable, I love it!!

Cons

Door dropped, loud, leaks when it rains? Some rust

Starts right up, grandkids love my fast car. Easy to maintain. Everyone asks how much I want for it.

Acceleration, 3.8 V6 Buick, Supercharger.

Cons

Front Seats, Center Console.

Acceleration is very good. There is a gauge to show boost from Supercharger. There are times that I have the boost kick in, not much though. There is also a display you can set for Avg. MPG, I get 21MPG consistently. The front seats(leather) have very little padding, I use a "Purple" seat pad. helps a lot. Not a fan of the center console arrangement. Rear cup holder is so far back, and high it is really not usable. I am going to possibly get mine painted, and keep it. It may be a "Classic" that increases in value.
