ALL-ELECTRIC, MIDNIGHT-BLACK, ONE-OWNER, NO-ACCIDENT, 835-HP QUAD-MOTOR, NONSMOKER, ADVENTURE-READY RIVIAN! Midnight paint, 22'' Sport Bright wheels, gold-tone Rivian accents and bright yellow brake calipers give this 2023 Rivian R1S Launch Edition the look of a limited-run original, and the odometer reads 41,586 miles. At roughly 11,700 miles per year, it has been driven below the 15,000-mile industry average, and it still delivers the full quad-motor performance that made the R1S one of the most talked-about SUVs of its generation. CARFAX reports one owner and no accidents or damage. The Launch Edition pairs the Quad-Motor all-wheel-drive powertrain and the 135-kWh large battery pack with 835 horsepower and 908 lb-ft of torque, a Forest Edge interior with Brown Ash wood trim and an adjustable air suspension. It is a family hauler, a weekend adventure rig and a supercar-quick EV in the same body. WHY SHOPPERS BUY THIS MODEL The R1S was the first all-electric, three-row SUV built for real off-road use, and shoppers pick it for that unusual mix: instant, silent acceleration, an adjustable air suspension, a spacious cabin and genuine capability when the pavement ends. Cross-shopped against the Tesla Model X, the Kia EV9, the Mercedes EQS SUV and the Land Rover Defender, it stands out for being equally comfortable on a camping trip and in the school pickup line. Just as important is how it lives day to day. Quad-motor torque vectoring, a quiet cabin, over-the-air software updates and the ability to charge at home make the R1S an easy SUV to enjoy every day, with the room to bring the family and the gear along. AUTOMOTIVE PRESS AND INDUSTRY RECOGNITION Kelley Blue Book gives the 2023 Rivian R1S an expert rating of 4.4 out of 5, calling it quick, comfortable, stable and fun, and praising its seating for seven and standard all-wheel drive. STANDARD FEATURES The R1S Quad-Motor Launch Edition puts one electric motor at each wheel, giving the SUV instant torque, independent wheel control and 0-60 mph acceleration in about 3 seconds. It rides on an adjustable air suspension that lifts for trails and lowers for easy highway cruising, and it carries the 135-kWh large battery pack for an EPA-estimated range of up to 303 miles with its 22'' wheels. Inside, a large central touchscreen and a digital driver display put vehicle controls, navigation and driving information in clear view, with over-the-air software updates that can add improvements over time.
