The XJS stayed in production for more than 20 years, and the 1995 model sits among the final years of the line, with the 6.0L V12 that Jaguar enlarged in 1993 for even smoother, stronger power. This convertible has just 7,202 miles and has always been stored in a temperature controlled garage, so it is a very clean example of the last of a classic grand touring breed. Finished in Glacier White with a tan convertible top and a tan and brown pinstripes down the side, this XJS has a soft, elegant color combination that shows off the long hood and flowing lines Jaguar is famous for. The tan top gives the white paint a warm, refined contrast, and with the top down, the car is built for sunny drives along scenic roads. The exterior has the kind of fresh, well preserved presence that is almost impossible to find on a car this age. Power comes from the 6.0L V12, paired with a 4 speed automatic transmission. The V12 is known for its smooth, quiet, almost turbine like delivery, and it suits the XJS perfectly, turning every drive into a relaxed, effortless cruise. With so few miles on the odometer, this is a drivetrain that has barely been broken in, and it has been protected from the temperature swings and weather that wear on so many classics. Inside, light tan leather seating and interior wood paneling create a warm, traditional British cabin that feels as luxurious as the exterior looks. The driver seat is power adjustable with memory, the passenger seat is power adjustable, and both front seats are heated and massaging, comfort features that make long drives even more enjoyable. The very clean condition carries throughout the cabin and matches the care shown to the rest of the car. This XJS V12 Convertible is a rare chance to own a low mileage, garage kept Jaguar with a classic V12, a fresh white and tan color scheme, and the elegant open air character that made the XJS a favorite for decades.
