TURBOCHARGED, SPACIOUS, FUEL-EFFICIENT, HEATED SEATS, DIGITAL COCKPIT, WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY, ONE-OWNER, OFF-LEASE, NONSMOKER, EUROPEAN REFINEMENT WITH EVERYDAY SUV VERSATILITY! The 2022 Volkswagen Taos SE delivers an exceptional combination of German-engineered refinement, impressive fuel economy, spacious accommodations, and modern technology in a stylish, easy-to-drive compact SUV. Finished in sophisticated Platinum Gray Metallic with just 37,357 miles, this attractive Taos features heated front seats, premium CloudTex seating, an 8'' touchscreen, Volkswagen's Digital Cockpit, wireless smartphone connectivity, and the confidence of intelligent 4MOTION ALL-WHEEL DRIVE. One of this Taos's most appealing qualities is its remarkably spacious interior. Despite its compact exterior dimensions, it provides generous accommodations for five, excellent outward visibility, and a versatile cargo area that makes everyday driving, shopping, and weekend travel especially convenient. The SE trim adds meaningful comfort upgrades, including power-adjustable driver's seating, heated exterior mirrors, keyless access, remote start, and wireless smartphone charging. Under the hood, Volkswagen's sophisticated 1.5-liter TSI turbocharged four-cylinder produces 158 horsepower and an impressive 184 lb-ft of torque. Its seven-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission delivers responsive performance, while the 4MOTION drivetrain adds reassuring traction and a more sophisticated independent rear suspension. With an EPA-estimated 32 MPG on the highway, this Taos combines confident performance with genuinely economical operation. Add its ONE-OWNER, OFF-LEASE CARFAX history, favorable annual mileage, and original MSRP of $30,675, and this Volkswagen offers an appealing opportunity to enjoy the practicality of an SUV, the efficiency of a smaller vehicle, and the distinctive driving character of German engineering. WHY SHOPPERS BUY THIS MODEL The Volkswagen Taos has become a particularly appealing choice for shoppers who want the versatility of an SUV without the size, fuel consumption, or parking challenges associated with a larger vehicle. Introduced for the 2022 model year, the Taos was designed to fit below the Volkswagen Tiguan while delivering passenger accommodations and cargo space that rival many vehicles in the next size category. Its upright roofline, generous wheelbase, large windows, and carefully designed interior make it substantially more practical than its compact dimensions might suggest. Compared with competitors such as the Honda HR-V, Mazda CX-30, Subaru Crosstrek, Hyundai Kona, and Kia Seltos, the Taos distinguishes itself through its exceptional rear-seat room, comfortable driving position, sophisticated turbocharged engine, and impressive cargo versatility. Another important attraction is Volkswagen's approach to interior design. Rather than relying on complicated controls and overly decorative styling, the Taos emphasizes a clean dashboard, straightforward operation, supportive seating, and easy access to important driving information. The turbocharged powertrain also contributes to its appeal. Its strong low-speed torque provides responsive acceleration during normal commuting and highway merging, while its efficient design helps maintain excellent fuel economy. Perhaps most importantly, the Taos is exceptionally adaptable. It's compact enough for crowded parking lots and busy city streets, comfortable enough for extended highway journeys, and spacious enough to accommodate passengers, luggage, recreational equipment, and everyday belongings with ease. AUTOMOTIVE PRESS AND INDUSTRY RECOGNITION The 2022 Volkswagen Taos attracted positive attention from automotive journalists for its generous interior space, comfortable road manners, impressive fuel efficiency, and attractive combination of practicality and value.
