VERSATILE, TURBOCHARGED, FUEL-EFFICIENT, SURPRISINGLY SPACIOUS, WELL-MAINTAINED, NONSMOKER, BIG PRACTICALITY IN A SMART-SIZED SUV! The 2022 Volkswagen Taos S combines European-inspired styling, responsive turbocharged performance, excellent fuel economy, and an impressively spacious interior in one exceptionally practical compact SUV. Finished in crisp Pure White with just 28,496 miles on the odometer, this attractive Taos offers the everyday versatility of a larger sport utility vehicle without the added bulk, fuel consumption, or expense. As one of Volkswagen's newest SUV designs, the Taos was engineered to make the most of its compact dimensions. Its comfortable five-person seating configuration, generous rear legroom, expansive cargo area, and thoughtfully organized interior make it an excellent choice for commuters, young families, first-time SUV buyers, and anyone who appreciates smart, practical transportation. Under the hood, a modern 1.5-liter turbocharged engine delivers responsive performance while returning an impressive EPA-estimated 36 MPG on the highway. Paired with a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission, the Taos provides an enjoyable balance of efficiency, everyday power, and relaxed highway cruising. This particular example also benefits from a noteworthy maintenance history. Its CARFAX report documents 12 service records, regular oil changes, scheduled maintenance, and several recent service visits, including an oil and filter change and tire rotation in June 2026. For shoppers seeking a modern, economical, and surprisingly accommodating SUV, this Pure White Taos delivers a compelling combination of comfort, efficiency, and everyday usefulness. WHY SHOPPERS BUY THIS MODEL The Volkswagen Taos quickly established itself as an appealing choice in the increasingly competitive small SUV segment by offering something buyers consistently appreciate: more interior room than its exterior dimensions suggest. Introduced for the 2022 model year, the Taos occupies the space below Volkswagen's popular Tiguan, providing much of the practicality associated with a larger compact SUV in a more maneuverable and fuel-efficient package. While competitors such as the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Kona, Mazda CX-30, Kia Seltos, and Chevrolet Trailblazer each offer their own strengths, the Taos distinguishes itself through its exceptionally generous rear-seat accommodations, outstanding cargo versatility, sophisticated European styling, and responsive turbocharged engine. Its approximately 37.9 inches of rear legroom rival the accommodations found in many larger SUVs, making the Taos a particularly attractive option for buyers who regularly transport adults or growing children. Cargo versatility is another major advantage. Front-wheel-drive models offer an impressive 27.9 cubic feet of storage behind the rear seats, expanding to approximately 65.9 cubic feet when the second row is folded. Those figures give the Taos outstanding flexibility for groceries, luggage, sports equipment, home improvement supplies, and countless other everyday needs. The Taos also benefits from Volkswagen's experience developing refined, comfortable vehicles with responsive handling and thoughtfully organized interiors. Its relatively low seating position for an SUV, confident steering, and composed road manners make it easy to drive through city streets while remaining comfortable on longer highway journeys. For shoppers who want the elevated seating position and versatility of an SUV without the compromises associated with a larger vehicle, the Taos presents an especially intelligent choice. AUTOMOTIVE PRESS AND INDUSTRY RECOGNITION The Volkswagen Taos received substantial attention from automotive journalists following its introduction, particularly for its outstanding interior packaging, impressive fuel efficiency, and excellent everyday practicality.
