This little gem is still available. Clean title, clean car! The Vibe was the result of a joint venture between Toyota and GM to rename Toyota Matrix(es) built in the US as 'Pontiac Vibes.' So the famous Toyota reliability is just one of the many features of this car! ENGINE: Four cylinder Toyota-built 1.8 L straight-4 16-valve engine producing 126 hp, based on the legendary Corolla. On October 15 I noticed a few drips of oil on the garage floor. There was no check oil light. Mechanic saw some small leaks but recommended against trying to fix them, given the age of the car & parts availability. I opted to just check the oil levels regularly and top off as needed. INTERIOR: Premium detailing done in September 2026, including hot water extraction on all upholstery. Power windows & locks, plus two sets of keys & fobs. AC and heat functional. BRAKES: Functional, I haven't measured the pads. SEATS: In great shape, no damage/stains; the rear seats and front passenger fold down for massive cargo space. TIRES: Four General Altimax 205/55 R16 tires from Discount Tire, 3/25/2023. Only 14,614 miles on them, lots of tread left. Donut spare never used & holds air well. EXTRAS: This is the "Moon & Tunes" trim package,, which included a roof rack, premium sound system, plus sunroof. I added a touchscreen Android head unit, USB power, and a dashcam. PAINT: Pretty good. See photos for some scuffing, a driver door ding, and a little rust on the rear lift gate. SERVICE RECORDS: Dozens of paper receipts for oil changes, dealer maintenance, recall fixes, etc. going back to August 2006 when my in-laws bought the car. ACCIDENT: One that I know of in November 2012, when my father-in-law (who owned the car back then) got distracted and rear-ended someone at low speed. No problems after the repair.
