2009 Subaru Outback Rebuilt Turbo Engine, New Clutch Mechanic's Special Selling my accident-free 2009 Subaru Outback with 158,300 miles, located in Lee's Summit, MO. Clear title in hand. The car runs and drives but has an unresolved electrical issue. It runs rough below 3000 RPM and smooths out above it; the dash periodically flashes warning lights. Diagnostics point to either a faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) or a short in the engine wiring harness. New coils and injectors didn't solve it, so it needs someone with electrical diagnostic expertise. Sold as-is. The interior is clean with only minor wear and tear for its age. If you can fix the electrical bug, you get an AWD turbo with a fresh powertrain and over $10k in recent mechanical receipts: Engine & Turbo (Sept 2024 @ 132k): Rebuilt engine and new Turbocharger. New intake/exhaust/valve cover/water pump gaskets, thermostat, radiator cap, plugs, and coolant lines. Turbo oil line updated May 2025. Always run on Mobil 1 5W-30 Full Synthetic. Transmission (June 2024 @ 132k): Brand new manual clutch kit and exhaust ****** gasket. Fuel & Exhaust (May/June 2026 @ 155k): New complete exhaust system with mufflers, 4 new fuel injectors, and a complete set of new ignition coils. Brakes & Suspension: - Front: New left front caliper, Duralast Gold pads, and two new rotors (June 2024). New right front lower control arm with ball joint (June 2025). - Rear: New rear pads and two new rotors (Oct 2025). - Chassis: New front sway bar linkend, rear suspension bushings, lower control arms, and stabilizers. The car drives, but due to low-RPM roughness, a trailer or dolly is recommended for long distances. Specifics on parts with all receipts available on request.
