A beautiful example of this true classic German model, with over $12K in maintenance invested over the last 11 years/24,000 miles of ownership. Interior is the chic "Java" tan/brown mix. The same model was in a couple of "Sopranos" episodes! W220 generation, 4.3L V8, 275 HP. Heavy, smooth, powerful, wonderful handling, better than expected MPG at 20+ highway. We have 4 cars for 2 drivers in the house, and my "Sunday Mercedes" is sadly the one that must go. This was a $74,000 car in 2003! (original window sticker in possession), and still behaves like one. Always garaged, non-smoking, originally from Nevada and Southern California (no salted roads). Clean CarFax and title, of course. 3 OEM key fobs. Recent maintenance includes: Yokohama Advan Sport tires w/3,000 miles AirMatic front shocks w/maybe 200 miles Complete front brakes and valve cover gaskets w/less than 3,000 miles Coolant fan w/less than 2,000 miles Interstate 36 month battery just last week Plus at 92K, had over $5K in services done in Southern California at a German exotics shop while on an extended family stay there: new dual catalytic converters, transmission service, brake flush, plus/wires/filters/hoses, 4 wheel alignment, engine mounts, front thrust arms and wheel bearings. All receipts are in hand.
