By 1989, the XJS had established itself as a desirable luxury grand tourer, combining traditional British craftsmanship with the performance of a V12 powerplant. The convertible models offered an especially enjoyable open-air driving experience while maintaining the comfort and elegance that made the XJS a standout in Jaguar's lineup.
