The MultiAir technology uses an electro-hydraulic system to precisely manage valve timing, resulting in a responsive throttle, a broad torque curve, and improved fuel efficiency compared to conventional engines. Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, power delivery is smooth and well-suited to both city stop-and-go traffic and highway merging. Front-wheel drive rounds out the drivetrain, keeping the vehicle nimble and predictable in everyday California driving conditions.
