This 2019 Mercedes-Benz CLS CLS 450 4MATIC is a four-door luxury sedan with all-wheel drive and the CLS body style that gives it a lower, more streamlined profile than a conventional midsize sedan. It is powered by a turbocharged inline-six engine paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, a combination that is part of the model's standard mechanical specification. Mercedes-Benz includes 4MATIC all-wheel drive on this version, and the drivetrain is designed to send power to all four wheels as conditions change. The chassis and suspension tuning are aimed at balanced road manners, with road use in mind rather than specialized off-pavement work. This example is equipped with Leather Seats, which provide a trimmed cabin surface throughout the seating areas. The interior follows the CLS approach to a premium four-passenger or five-passenger sedans in this class, with a low dashboard, flowing trim surfaces, and a focused driving position. Materials and switchgear are consistent with Mercedes-Benz's upper-level passenger cars, and the cabin presentation is clean and restrained. Seating comfort, adjustment range, and finish quality are central parts of the experience, and the leather upholstery adds to the sense of formality without changing the car's basic function. This vehicle also includes Premium Audio, Navigation, and Apple CarPlay. Those features are integrated into the car's infotainment system, which uses a central display and associated controls mounted within reach of the driver. The navigation function is built into the interface, and Apple CarPlay provides smartphone compatibility through the same system. Premium Audio is part of the factory entertainment equipment and is separate from the standard infotainment functions. The control layout follows Mercedes-Benz practice, with driver-accessible menus and screen-based access to common media and routing settings. Collision Warning and a Sunroof are also listed among the equipment on this CLS 450 4MATIC. The driver-assist system is part of the vehicle's active safety features, while the sunroof adds a glass panel opening in the roof section. Exterior details include the long hood, short rear deck, frameless door glass, and sculpted side surfaces associated with the CLS design. Lighting, badging, and trim pieces are integrated in a way that matches the rest of the vehicle rather than drawing attention to any single element. The result is a sedan with standard luxury-car features and the added equipment noted above, presented in a format that remains practical for everyday driving.
