This is surely one of the nicest E36 '328i's left. It is a wonderful car to drive, and thanks to the constant care it has had since new, she is still every bit of the legendary sports car she was built to be. I, unfortunately had the choice when my dad sent me this car whether to keep it, or sell it, and when the head gasket went out on my daily, I decided its time to part with this car so I can get something bigger that can carry my dogs. I do not want to daily drive this beautiful example of one of these and put unnecessary wear and tear on it, nor do I think I can realistically afford to have an aging German sports car as a weekend car. These cars, especially the engines are legendary for their reliability when properly maintained, and I want to sell this car to somebody who is ready to cherish this gorgeous car and keep up with maintenance to keep this beauty in pristine shape. Recent upgrades/maintenence: -4x Bilstein shocks -brand new very nice soft top roof (around $4000) Known issues/flaws: -soft top tension straps need to be replaced. While lowering the roof, I reach back and help the roof come forward so the clamshell can open. The rest of the roof operation is completely automatic. -While shipping to me, there were car cleaning chemicals that spilled on the passenger seat, causing the cracks on the corner of the seat that can be seen in the photos. -Door panel leather is delaminated around the pockets -door handle gaskets are cracking with age Upcoming maintenence: -slow seep from valve cover gasket -recent inspection indicates brake fluid flush will be needed soon -Will need new spark plugs soon -Will probably need its first replacement clutch in around 15-25k miles. Included in the sale are all service records since new, as well as 3 sets of keys, original window sticker, service manuals, glove compartment flashlight, and all original tools from trunk tool set. Please reach out to Matthew with any questions!
