30,439 MILES ON A HARDTOP CONVERTIBLE MERCEDES Thirty thousand four hundred thirty nine miles. On an SLK. Somebody owned this car, loved it enough to keep it immaculate, and drove it about as much as you would drive a boat. Here is what makes the SLK the smart one of the two seat convertibles. It has a power folding hardtop, not a canvas roof. Push the button and the metal roof stacks itself into the trunk, and you have a convertible. Push it the other way and you have a quiet, solid, lockable coupe with a glass rear window and a proper rear defroster. No leaks, no zippers, no plastic window clouding over. That is why you can own one as your only fun car and not just a summer toy. Rear wheel drive, the 3.0 liter V6 and a seven speed automatic, which is the proper roadster layout and a large part of why it drives the way it does. Inside it is a Mercedes from the era when the switchgear felt expensive. Sport seats, a sport steering wheel wrapped in leather, a leather shift knob, and a front center armrest with storage. Dual zone automatic climate control. Nine speakers with a weather band radio, Tele Aid, and integrated roll-over protection behind the seats. Front and rear fog lamps, automatic headlights, heated power mirrors with the turn signals built in, and sixteen inch five spoke alloy wheels. This one is Archibald Certified. It passed our 100-point inspection and is backed by our 3 Month/3,000 Mile Limited Warranty covering engine, transmission and transfer case, and differential components. CARFAX comes back clean: clean title, no accidents or damage reported, no total loss, no structural damage, and no indication of an odometer rollback. Picture the practical version of this purchase. Top down on the river road out toward Red Mountain on a Saturday in May, top up and buttoned down when the weather turns in November. A roadster with mileage this low, in this condition, at this kind of money is a specific and rare thing. Come put the top down at Archibald's, 6902 W Clearwater Ave in Kennewick , stock 21114. A negotiable documentary service fee of $200.00 may apply to each purchase.
