Presidential Auto is proud to offer this Clean CARFAX 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo, powered by Porsches legendary 3.6L twin-turbocharged flat-six and, most importantly, paired with the highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission. Presented in impeccable condition inside and out, this 996-generation Turbo has been Porsche serviced according to its CARFAX report and comes complete with two keys and its books. The 996 Turbo occupies an increasingly important place in Porsche history. As values of earlier air cooled manual-transmission 911 Turbos have climbed dramatically, the 996 remains one of the most attainable ways to own a true manual, twin-turbocharged 911 Turbo. Its combination of performance, analog driving involvement, and relative rarity has made clean examples increasingly desirable among Porsche enthusiasts. Power comes from the 3.6L twin-turbocharged flat-six producing 415 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque. Derived from the famed Mezger engine architecture with roots in Porsches motorsport programs, this powerplant is one of the defining features of the 996 Turbo. Paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and Porsches all-wheel-drive system, it delivers tremendous performance while retaining the mechanical involvement that makes this generation so rewarding to drive. The 996 Turbo also benefits from a wider body, distinctive Turbo-specific styling, larger brakes, revised suspension, and functional aerodynamic enhancements that immediately separate it from the standard Carrera. More than two decades later, its compact proportions and understated design provide a refreshing contrast to the increasingly large and complex modern 911. The car is also accompanied by two keys and its books, further adding to its appeal as a properly kept enthusiast example. With its Clean CARFAX history, Porsche service history, 6-speed manual transmission, legendary twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six, this 2001 Porsche 911 Turbo represents an increasingly difficult combination to find. As one of the most accessible generations of the manual 911 Turbo remaining, the 996 Turbo offers tremendous performance, genuine analog character, and a compelling connection to an era of Porsche engineering that enthusiasts continue to appreciate.
