If you're searching for a dependable work van at a competitive price, this 2017 RAM ProMaster City Tradesman Cargo Van for sale at Siry Motors by Siry & Sons Inc. in San Diego, California is worth a serious look. With under 100,000 miles and a proven powertrain, this compact cargo van delivers the utility small business owners and tradespeople in the San Diego area need without the full-size price tag. ===== About This 2017 RAM ProMaster City Tradesman Cargo Van ===== This 2017 RAM ProMaster City Tradesman Cargo Van (Stock #J2050) comes in at 98,769 miles, placing it well within the range where this platform continues to perform reliably with routine maintenance. The ProMaster City was designed from the ground up as a purpose-built commercial vehicle, and the Tradesman Cargo trim is the workhorse of the lineup stripped of excess, focused on function, and built to carry. Whether you're hauling tools, equipment, or product inventory around San Diego County, this van is engineered to get the job done day in and day out. ===== 2017 RAM ProMaster City Performance and Engine ===== Under the hood sits a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a smooth 9-speed automatic transmission an unusually refined combination for the compact cargo van segment. Front-wheel drive means better traction on hills and wet pavement, which is a real-world benefit whether you're navigating the winding roads of La Mesa or making deliveries through the coastal neighborhoods of Point Loma and Ocean Beach. The 9-speed transmission keeps the engine in its power band efficiently, contributing to competitive fuel economy for a cargo van typically in the mid-to-upper 20s MPG on the highway. That matters when you're logging business miles across San Diego County every week. ===== RAM ProMaster City Tradesman Features and Interior ===== The Tradesman Cargo configuration prioritizes cargo space over passenger comfort and that's exactly what commercial buyers want. The rear cargo area offers a flat load floor, twin rear barn doors, and available sliding side door access, making loading and unloading efficient in tight urban spaces. The cabin is functional and straightforward, with a driver-focused layout, Uconnect infotainment, Bluetooth connectivity, and controls designed to be operated quickly between stops. The ProMaster City's compact exterior footprint notably smaller than a full-size Transit or Sprinter means easy parallel parking and maneuverability in dense city environments like downtown San Diego and Hillcrest. ===== RAM ProMaster City Reliability and Ownership ===== The RAM ProMaster City was introduced to the U.S. market with Fiat Dobl roots, which initially raised some eyebrows, but the platform has earned a solid reputation in commercial fleet use. The 2.4-liter Tigershark engine and the 9-speed ZF-sourced automatic have proven durable in high-cycle, stop-and-go driving environments. Owners consistently report low maintenance costs relative to competitors, and parts availability has improved significantly as the platform matured. At 98,769 miles, this van is well past its break-in period and, if properly maintained, has meaningful working life remaining. As with any used commercial vehicle, a pre-purchase inspection is always a smart step and Siry Motors by Siry & Sons Inc. encourages buyers to do their due diligence. ===== Why Buy From Siry Motors by Siry & Sons Inc. in San Diego, California ===== Siry Motors by Siry & Sons Inc., located in San Diego in San Diego County, has built its reputation on offering quality pre-owned vehicles to real buyers not just pushing inventory.
