2006 Sprinter (Mercedes / Dodge) Model 2500, 3 door cargo van ,140&quot; wheelbase, 211,570 OD miles Legendary Mercedes-Benz 2.7L 5-cylinder turbodiesel engine (T1N generation). 5-speed automatic transmission, (Mercedes-Benz 722.6; rebuilt @ 195,232 miles). Cargo space allows full standing height. Equipped with custom shelving for tool cases, power tools, parts, etc. Spill-proof-bin-shelves hold 20 Rubbermaid containers (6 shown). Shelving stilll allows space for 4x8 sheets to be stacked on floor. Cargo space allows for 10' long material, plus @ 3' with divider door open. As a second owner, I have had this Sprinter for 10 years doing residential handyman work in Atlanta. It has been a terrific work van, requiring minimal repairs. It accelerates well and has a sharp turning radius. - The van is in generally very good condition: There are a few small scratches and age spots, but not bad. Regularly serviced with full synthetic oil. The seats are in good condition, I simply put a cover on the driver's side to protect it. All HVAC systems function, but the control module has stripped gears that make control difficult. (A new control module cost $130) But I never felt it necessary - You might. The body seams on the roof showed some signs of water penetration, so I sealed them with a raised bead of Sikaflex 221 caulk and then covered it with two coats of Durabak 18 marine coating (see photo).
