This Jetta has been in my family since 2011 (originally purchased by my father, with the clean title officially transferred into my name a couple of years ago). It has been an incredibly dependable car for us for 15 years. I am only selling because I am moving to a city with robust public transit next year, and because I only drive about once a week, keeping a vehicle no longer makes sense. The car runs properly and handles well, but it is being sold completely AS-IS. The buyer will be responsible for all immediate and future maintenance, including towing or tire replacement upon purchase. Recent Maintenance: Brand new battery installed two months ago. Most recent oil change was completed earlier this spring. Interior Condition: The black leather seats and interior are in fine, clean shape with normal wear for its age. To save us both time, I am being 100% transparent about why the car is priced for an as-is sale: Tires: The car is currently riding on a spare donut. One tire needs to be replaced, and all tires need a rotation. The original wheel is completely undamaged and is stored in the trunk, ready for a new tire to be mounted. Electrical/Coolant Light Quirk: Around 2023, the car developed an electrical quirk. Upon startup, the coolant warning light and chime come on. This is a false positivethe car maintains a perfectly normal operating temperature and has never overheated. Tied to this same glitch, the horn beep occasionally comes and goes when locking the vehicle (though the doors always lock safely and the lights flash). A/C &amp; Heat: The heater works perfectly. The A/C blows air, but it is warm. A DIY refrigerant recharge did not fix it, so the A/C system likely needs a component replacement. Exterior Cosmetics: The black paint is mostly fine with minimal, age-appropriate rust. There is a cosmetic dent in the trunk, but it does not impact the trunk opening, closing, or sealing.
