Finished in **Silver**, this S2000 is an exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and carefully kept example with just **61,871 miles**. For a vehicle now more than two decades old, finding an S2000 with this combination of mileage, condition, and long-term ownership is becoming increasingly uncommon. What really separates this S2000 is its history. This is a **Bay Area native**, and its most recent owner kept the vehicle for approximately **14.5 years**. That kind of long-term ownership is especially meaningful on an enthusiast vehicle like the S2000, and its remarkably clean condition reflects the level of care it has received over the years. At the heart of this S2000 is Honda's legendary **2.0L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder VTEC engine**, paired with the car's defining **6-speed manual transmission**. With its high-revving character, rear-wheel-drive layout, lightweight roadster platform, and driver-focused engineering, the early AP1 S2000 delivers an experience that remains unique even by modern standards. ### KEY METRICS VIN: JHMAP11401T002174 Body: Convertible / Roadster Engine: 2.0L DOHC VTEC 4-Cylinder Transmission: 6-Speed Manual Drivetrain: Rear-Wheel Drive Mileage: 61,871 Exterior: Silver Generation: AP1 ### WHY THIS S2000 STANDS OUT Bay Area Native Only 61,871 Miles Exceptionally Low Mileage for the Year Approximately 14.5 Years With Its Last Owner Extremely Clean Condition Well Maintained & Carefully Kept Desirable Early AP1 S2000 6-Speed Manual Transmission High-Revving Naturally Aspirated VTEC Engine Rear-Wheel-Drive Roadster Iconic Honda Enthusiast Car Increasingly Difficult to Find in This Condition ### S2000 FEATURES 2.0L DOHC VTEC 4-Cylinder Engine 6-Speed Manual Transmission Rear-Wheel Drive High-Revving Engine Character Limited-Slip Differential Double-Wishbone Suspension Driver-Focused Cockpit Digital Instrument Cluster Push-Button Engine Start Leather-Trimmed Sport Seats Leather-Wrapped Steering Wheel Power Convertible Soft Top Power Windows & Locks Air Conditioning Alloy Wheels ### ICONIC, ANALOG & DRIVER-FOCUSED The S2000 comes from an era when Honda engineering was focused on extracting extraordinary performance from lightweight vehicles and naturally aspirated engines. Its combination of a **high-revving VTEC engine, close-ratio 6-speed manual, rear-wheel drive, and compact roadster chassis** created one of the most memorable sports cars of its generation. More than two decades later, that formula has only become more distinctive.
