This is a 2WD, single-rear-wheel Super Cab with an 8-foot long bed, powered by Ford's 6.8L Triton V10 and automatic transmission. This truck has spent most of its life in California and is remarkably clean for its age. It runs and drives well and has recently been gone through in preparation for sale. Recent work includes new tires, new windshield, new fuel pump, tune-up with new spark plugs, transmission service, new fuel filler and vent hoses, and replacement of the passenger airbag deactivation switch. The front seats have also been professionally recovered. Maintenance and repair receipts are included with the truck. Equipment includes Lariat trim, power windows and locks, cruise control, heated towing mirrors, running boards, trailer hitch, smoked cab marker lights, and an upgraded touchscreen stereo. A Gear Vendor auxiliary overdrive is installed in the driveline. It was installed prior to our ownership, and we have not verified its operation, so its operating condition is unknown. The body and paint present very well for a 27-year-old truck. There is localized damage to the upper rear bed area from scaffolding that was blown over during high winds. The damage is shown clearly in the photos. Otherwise, the truck is exceptionally clean for its age. This is an increasingly hard-to-find, low-mileage first-generation Super Duty that hasn't been beaten up as a work truck.
