Great running Chevy truck. This is a 6.6L Duramax diesel workhorse. The interior is in very good condition. Cloth seats are clean and tear-free, and no cracks in the dash or interior trim. Center console lid is a brand new OEM replacement. Air blows cold and sound system works perfectly. All dash lights work. The odometer/trip meter/shift indicator is hit and miss. The picture showing the mileage shows that it does come on, but sometimes it doesn't. That never bothered me and is consistent with other GM trucks that I have owned from the same time period. The body is very straight with some minor cosmetic blemishes representative of a truck nearly 25 years old. The rear bumper has a small ding as does the passenger side rear fender. I have added pictures to show these two areas. There is no rust and the body is near perfect otherwise. The matching ARE topper has all new seals including where it seats to the bed. Latches on rear window and side windoors work perfectly, although I do not have the key. Replacements can be picked up from ARE. The 8' bed has a bedliner. The topper also has a roof rack installed which works great for kayaks, paddle boards, or longer pieces of lumber/pvc or other assorted construction materials if that is your thing. I personally replaced all 8 high-pressure injector lines after the previous owner replaced the injectors but not the lines. If you have ever made that mistake, you know it is not recommended. I also installed a muffler since PO opted to remove the one it came with for unknown reasons other than to annoy the next county. The pre-DEF 6.6 lives up to its reputation and will not let you down. No smoke, no leak, no rattle, no shake. Just power. Enough to roar up Cabbage Hill at 65 mph pulling a 30' travel trailer without breaking a sweat. And even more importantly, this Silverado's 6.6 and its Allison compadre will allow you to come back down Cabbage Hill with said trailer and you won't have to change your jeans at the bottom!
