This 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Base is a two-seat sports car from the C5 generation, presented in a simple, straightforward form with the equipment listed here. This model year marked a new chapter for the Corvette line, and this example reflects that era with its long hood, short rear deck, and low-slung bodywork. Its proportions are compact for a car of this type, and the exterior design follows the familiar Corvette approach of a front-engine coupe with a focused driving character. The body lines are clean and restrained, with little ornamentation beyond the shape itself. The overall presentation is rooted in function, with an emphasis on the structural elements and the performance-oriented proportions that define the model. This example includes Leather Seats, and that material is part of the cabin's appointed surface treatment. The seating area is arranged for two occupants, with a driver-focused dashboard and controls placed within easy reach. The interior design of the C5 generation carries a straightforward layout, with gauges positioned to remain visible and switchgear set into the console and surrounding panels. The cabin space is limited in the way expected of a Corvette, with storage and passenger accommodation shaped by the car's sports car architecture rather than by utility. The trim and finishes are presented in a manner consistent with the model, with a direct emphasis on the driving position and the surrounding control surfaces. This Corvette also has Premium Audio, which adds a higher-grade sound system to the vehicle's equipment list. The stereo components are integrated into the dashboard area, alongside the other cabin controls and display elements. Keyless Entry is included as well, adding remote access capability to the vehicle's equipment. These features are listed plainly within the car's existing specification, without altering the car's basic character or the way its cockpit is arranged. The controls and amenities are set up to support regular use, with the interior organized around the driver and the front passenger rather than around rear seating or expanded cargo needs. The available equipment remains focused and limited to the items specified here. On the road, this 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Base belongs to a generation known for a balanced chassis, rear-wheel-drive layout, and performance-oriented hardware. The car's dimensions, seating position, and body structure are all consistent with a sports car built for responsive handling and straightforward driver engagement. The model was positioned to provide serious performance in a relatively compact package, and its engineering reflects that intent through its low stance and purpose-built proportions. The details provided here describe the vehicle without adding assumptions about trim-specific extras or optional content beyond what is listed. The result is a car whose identity is defined by its period-correct Corvette design, its leather-trimmed seating, its upgraded audio system, and its keyless entry feature.
