I bought this car because, to me, a 992 Carrera S with a 7-speed manual is about as close as you can get to the sweet spot of the modern 911 lineup. It is brutally fast when you want it to be, comfortable enough to drive every day, and still has the involvement and personality that made me want a 911 in the first place. The Chalk over black combination is understated in the best way, and the car has the options I cared about as an enthusiast: Sport Chrono, Porsche Sport Exhaust, Premium Package, and the extended-range fuel tank. It is completely stock and was purchased by me as a CPO car from Porsche North Houston. My use has mostly been commuting mixed with spirited drives through the Texas Hill Country. Sadly, I never got it onto a track. It has been driven and enjoyed, so I would describe it as a very nice enthusiast-owned car rather than a museum piece. The front end is PPF-protected, and overall it presents very well. The only reason I am selling is that my kids are getting bigger and our family life and hobbies have changed enough that the 911 simply does not get used as much as it should. More and more, I find it sitting in the garage when I would rather see it go to someone who is excited to drive it. If you are looking for a manual 992 that you can actually use, enjoy, and put miles on, this has been a fantastic one.
