Vehicle Name: 1998 Porsche Boxster (986.1) VIN: WP0CA2980WU625207 Mileage: 21,247 miles Exterior: Black Interior: Boxster Red Special Leather Convertible Top: Black Engine: 2.5L Naturally Aspirated Flat-Six (M96/20) Transmission: 5-Speed Manual Drivetrain: Rear-Wheel Drive Horsepower: 201 hp Torque: 181 lb-ft This 1998 Porsche Boxster is an exceptionally low-mileage first-generation 986.1 finished in Black over Boxster Red Special Leather with a black convertible top and showing just 21,247 miles. The factory build sheet confirms an excellent specification including the P63 Sport Package, 17-inch Boxster-Design wheels, colored Porsche crest wheel caps, Hi-Fi Sound Package, Porsche Windstop, cruise control, and AM/FM CD player. Powered by Porsche's naturally aspirated 2.5-liter M96/20 flat-six and paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, the original Boxster delivers the lightweight, mid-engine driving experience that helped define Porsche's modern roadster. With only three previous owners, approximately 19 years under its second owner, and a CARFAX showing no reported accidents or damage, this 21k-mile example is an increasingly difficult specification to duplicate. Its original MSRP was $44,325, and the combination of Black paint with Boxster Red Special Leather gives this early 986 a particularly striking period-correct Porsche specification. The factory P63 Sport Package, 17-inch Boxster-Design wheels, colored crest center caps, Hi-Fi audio system, Windstop, and cruise control further distinguish this example from a basic early Boxster. CARFAX Highlights Only 21,247 miles Three previous owners Personal-use vehicle No accidents or damage reported to CARFAX No total loss reported No structural damage reported No airbag deployment reported No indication of an odometer rollback No salvage, junk, rebuilt, fire, flood, hail, or lemon title brands reported No open recalls reported to CARFAX Eight documented service-history records Approximately 19 years with the second owner Long-term Michigan ownership Later Florida ownership Recent safety inspection performed in August 2026 Ownership & Service History The Boxster was first titled in Michigan in June 1998 with only 26 miles. Its second owner acquired the car in April 2002>
