*2022 Rolls-Royce Ghost Extended Wheelbase Black Badge* Rolls-Royce built the Black Badge line for a different kind of client one who wanted the marque's legendary refinement without quite so much restraint. This 2022 Black Badge Ghost is a strong example of that idea, finished in Arctic White over a Black interior with Arctic White contrast piping, and offered with one owner and 26,000 miles on an original build totaling $481,425. Power comes from the 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12, tuned in Black Badge form to 591 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, routed through an 8-speed automatic with satellite-aided shifting and paired with all-wheel drive and rear-wheel steering enough to move nearly three tons of aluminum spaceframe to 60 mph in around 4.5 seconds. The options list here goes well beyond a standard car. The Black Badge Ghost Package alone carried a $43,850 premium and brings a darker, more purposeful character throughout, headlined by 21-inch forged carbon composite alloy wheels a Black Badge exclusive engineered to be both lighter and stronger than conventional forged aluminum wheels, further sharpening the car's handling despite its considerable weight. A dark chrome Spirit of Ecstasy and illuminated grille announce the car's identity before anyone steps inside, while extended high-gloss veneer, an illuminated fascia, and RR monograms embossed into the doors and stitched into the headrests carry that same level of detail into the cabin, joined by a shooting star headliner, a central cool chamber, and rear seats that are both ventilated and massage-equipped. Rear-seat passengers get their own dedicated experience here, including a Rear Theatre Configuration, individual seat layout, immersive seating with an occasional third seat, picnic tables, and a bespoke clock set into the fascia. Rolls-Royce's Bespoke Audio system and a full driver assistance suite active cruise control, park assistant, and a head-up display among them bring the car current with modern technology, while personalization touches like a Signature Key finished in Black and a commissioned umbrella set in Arctic White and Black show how far this particular build was taken. Few cars combine this level of outright power with this much handcrafted presence, and this Ghost wears its darker, sportier identity without ever losing the sense of occasion Rolls-Royce is known for. For a buyer looking for one of the most thoroughly specified examples of the Black Badge philosophy, this one is worth serious consideration.
