I'm selling my 1993 BMW 740iL Island Green Metallic Series 7. Please contact me with any questions. This is a gorgeous car and condition is good to very good. The transmission whines a bit going from 2-3 but the sounds have been the same for years. Shifting around town sometimes feels a little clunky but I seem to be the only one who notices. it drives smoothly. I commuted from Santa Barbara to the bay area at least once a month for 5yrs and it was a joy. The radiator and water pump have been replaced and I put in a new battery this year. Door locks, windows, sunroof and AC , all working fine. some rock chip damage on the front, and a piece of rubber trim on the rear bumper is missing where something bumped into it. The engine performance is solid and more fun than you'd expect from a big car. I drove it 80mph for over an hour last weekend and it felt good. It has a random and erroneous suspension leveling message related to an electrical contact that no one has been able to sort out. The suspension works fine; when the car starts, you can see and feel the rear raise up and level out. Brakes and tires are good, Konig struts up front. The tires may need to be rebalanced. I inherited a MB S430 a few years ago, which is quieter but not as fun and 'sporty' as this. I cant keep both any longer. Love to see it get the tlc it deserves. txt Thanks for looking! Stephen
