VERSATILE, DEPENDABLE, NONSMOKER, ALL-WEATHER CONFIDENCE AWAITS! The 2022 Subaru Legacy continues to prove that a midsize sedan can deliver genuine all-weather capability without sacrificing everyday comfort, pairing standard all-wheel drive with a level of standard safety technology that consistently outshines the segment average. Standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive gives this Legacy continuous, full-time traction to all four wheels, a genuine advantage over the front-wheel-drive-only setups found on most competing midsize sedans. WHY SHOPPERS BUY THIS MODEL The Legacy has built a devoted following among shoppers who want genuine all-weather capability in a midsize sedan, a rarity in a segment where front-wheel drive is the norm. Buyers consistently point to its standard all-wheel drive, composed ride, and Subaru's well-earned reputation for long-term reliability as reasons they choose the Legacy over more conventional sedans. Subaru also equips every Legacy with EyeSight Driver Assist Technology as standard equipment, giving buyers a level of safety technology that many competitors reserve for pricier trims. That combination of capability, comfort, and standard safety helped this generation earn both a five-star NHTSA rating and an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award. AUTOMOTIVE PRESS AND INDUSTRY RECOGNITION Reviewers have consistently praised the Legacy for its composed, communicative ride and genuine all-weather confidence, traits that stand out in a segment where most competitors offer only front-wheel drive. Its standard EyeSight Driver Assist Technology has also drawn praise for making advanced safety features accessible across the entire lineup. Named a 2022 IIHS Top Safety Pick+ Earned a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration WARRANTY The odometer is hovering around the 42,490-mile mark. Given this Legacy's age, meaningful factory warranty coverage has expired. Subaru's proven 2.5-liter Boxer engine and Lineartronic CVT have built a strong reputation for long-term durability, and with favorable mileage for its age, this Legacy should have plenty of dependable miles left ahead with continued maintenance. STANDARD FEATURES Every Legacy comes standard with all-wheel drive and EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, giving base trim buyers a genuinely well-rounded ownership experience right off the factory floor. Steering-responsive LED headlights and a dual 7-inch Starlink infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto further round out a trim level built around everyday usability. Buyers consistently choose the base Legacy for exactly this reason: it delivers genuine all-wheel-drive capability and comprehensive standard safety technology without asking buyers to step up to a higher trim. INSTALLED OPTIONS Exterior and interior heated auto-dimming mirrors, including a compass and integrated HomeLink garage door opener Rear bumper applique for added protection against everyday scuffs MECHANICAL FEATURES The Legacy's 2.5-liter Subaru Boxer engine produces 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft of torque, delivering smooth, predictable power that's well matched to this sedan's comfort-focused mission. The Lineartronic CVT includes an 8-speed manual shift mode with steering-wheel paddle shifters, giving drivers a degree of engagement not always found in a continuously variable transmission. Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive continuously sends power to all four wheels, giving this Legacy genuine traction advantages over front-wheel-drive midsize sedans, particularly in rain, snow, or slippery conditions. EXTERIOR FEATURES The Legacy's clean, contemporary sedan styling is reinforced by steering-responsive LED headlights, giving it a modern lighting signature that follows the road ahead at night. The rear bumper applique adds a layer of everyday protection against scuffs and minor scrapes. INTERIOR FEATURES Inside, the auto-dimm>
