If you've been searching for an original, unmodified Ford SVT Lightning, this is the truck you've been waiting for. Offered for sale is my 1999 Ford F-150 SVT Lightning, purchased brand new by me from Richmond Ford in Richmond, Virginia, and proudly maintained in my ownership ever since. With only 40,144 original miles, this is an exceptionally well-preserved, completely stock example of one of Ford's most iconic performance trucks. The 1999 model year marked the debut of the second-generation SVT Lightning, with only 4,000 trucks produced. This truck includes the original Ford SVT Certificate of Authenticity identifying its individual build number within that limited production run. Unlike many Lightnings on the market today, this truck has never been modified. It retains its original factory supercharged drivetrain, wheels, suspension, exhaust, interior, and original paint. Finding a one-owner, completely stock Lightning with this level of originality and matching documentation has become increasingly rare. Powered by the legendary factory supercharged 5.4L Triton V8, producing 360 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque, and backed by the heavy-duty 4R100 automatic transmission and 4.10 limited-slip rear axle, the SVT Lightning was one of the quickest production trucks of its era and remains one of the most recognizable performance trucks ever produced by Ford's Special Vehicle Team. The original paint shows the honest character expected of a well-preserved 27-year-old vehicle while still maintaining an excellent gloss, as shown in the photos. The truck has been recently professionally detailed and presents beautifully. The interior is equally impressive. From the day it came home, the factory carpet and floor mats were protected by all-weather floor mats, preserving their outstanding original condition. The truck has been driven sparinglyaveraging fewer than 1,500 miles per yearand has always been treated as a special vehicle rather than daily transportation.
