1996 Jaguar XJS 2+2 Convertible...the last model produced before Ford started manufacturing. At 109,000 miles (3,600/year), this vehicles still inspires other motorists to ask about it at traffic lights. It has all five of the original Jaguar Chrome Max Wheels, on tires with very few miles on them, and there is a full-sized spare. The top is in good condition because it was hardly ever up. That might explain why the switch won't activate the motor. I purchased a new alternator but have never installed. After starting it and having it running, it will directly drain the battery. The driver-side window does not roll up and will need repair as well. From just sitting, the original carpet backing is dry-rotted and the front seats will need some new skins. When started, the engine runs well, has good power, and still does not burn oil. I decided not to replace the A/C unit, as I never used it. I've had some great memories with this vehicle.
