All-wheel drive is standard, as is a host of contemporary tech features including a large infotainment display and a competitive suite of driver-assistance items. The RDX is also peppy and pleasantly nimble. How comfortable is the Acura RDX? The upgraded front seats in our RDX A-Spec Advance are as comfortable as they are stylish thanks to a multitude of adjustments that include lumbar, seat cushion length and side supports. How's the tech? The screen is big, sharp, clear and fast. There are tons of features like Amazon integration, standard wireless smartphone integration, and a decent number of USB ports. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and on our A-Spec Advance test car, the ELS audio system is simply superb. The torque-vectoring SH-AWD system also helped the RDX change directions quickly and was backed by precise-feeling steering. The RDX we tested was wonderfully balanced. The A-Spec version we tested needed 6.2 seconds to hit 60 mph at our test track. . Nothing in the cabin feels cheap or chintzy, and the driving position is high enough to satisfy SUV fans and low enough to appease driving enthusiasts. A handle on the outboard rear seats releases the back row so you can fold it flat; you can also release the second row from the rear of the cargo hold. We managed to fit eight carry-on bags in the back of the RDX with the seats up and 22 with them folded. Every RDX has a 10.2-inch touchscreen perched high on the dashboard. It can also be operated via a touchpad on the center console. Both fun and practical, the Acura RDX has loads of potential. Not only is it stylish, sporty, and spacious, it has traditionally offered excellent long-term value. Acura has updated the 2025 RDX with an emphasis on exterior design and quality of life improvements inside the cabin.
