I'm really going to miss this car. In the 50-plus years that I've been driving, I've never had a car that was as much fun to drive or handled nearly as well as this one. And while there are cars that are faster off the line than this one (0-60 time is around 4 seconds), very few of them can keep up when the roads get twisty. I've never had another car that looked as good as this one, either: I think the 981 Cayman is the best looking car Porsche ever built (with a couple of exceptions, both of which would set you back over a million dollars). But I just turned 70, and it's getting harder for me to get in and out of it, so I've decided to let it go. I bought this car in 2021. The original color was black on black, but I had it professionally wrapped to change the exterior color to candy apple red. It has other modifications, but I have no room to list them all in 2,000 characters. The car has never been in an accident, and it's had no issues; just regular maintenance. It's never been smoked in, and it's been kept in a climate-controlled garage with a central drain, so I've been able to regularly hand-wash it year round. Porsche-scheduled services were all performed on schedule or earlier, including the 60,000 mile service (performed on November 10, 2025). I have all receipts, and a complete history is available on Carfax. Oil and filter have been changed every 5,000 miles under my ownership. Alignment was done less than 7,500 miles ago. It was checked and found to be in spec when I had the rear tires replaced on May 29, 2026. Front tires have 7/32&quot; of tread. Sale also includes all original owner's manuals in a leather case, 2 key fobs, a Porsche-branded windshield sun shade, an extra sets of carpeted floor mats, a set of WeatherTech all-weather mats, and a battery tender. I'd be happy to set up an appointment and drop the car off for a Pre-Purchase Inspection (at buyer's expense) at either of 2 local Porsche dealers or the independent Porsche shop I use.
