Since my purchase in 2022 (I believe I am the 2nd owner) this 2006 Volkswagen New Beetle 2.5 Convertible has been locally driven its entire life and has never been used for longdistance commuting. It has been a reliable, easystarting car in every season, it fires up immediately in both winter cold and summer heat. The 2.5L engine runs reliably, and the automatic transmission with Tiptronic shifts without issue. All major comfort features work exactly as they should. The heat and air conditioning are strong, the heated seats warm up quickly, and the cruise control functions perfectly. The power convertible top operates smoothly and makes this an ideal spring and summer car for anyone who wants a fun, openair driving experience. The interior and exterior show normal wear for the age, but everything essential for daily driving is fully operational. The car has been dependable, easy to maintain, and enjoyable to drive. In the interest of full transparency, there are a few quirks to note. The factory radio does not currently work. The original speedometer stopped functioning, but a fully legal, accurate replacement digital speedometer is installed, powered through the 12V outlet, and mounted cleanly on the dashboard. The front passenger seat slides forward and backward normally, but the reclining function is not working. None of these issues affect drivability or safety. If you're looking for an affordable, reliable, and fun convertible that's perfect for warmweather driving, this Beetle is a great fit. It has been wellloved, starts every time, and offers the classic charm that makes the New Beetle Convertible such a popular choice.
