3rd GEN Toyota 4 Runner Limited We are the second owners and bought this rig in 1999 from a dealership when it had about 43K on it. Since then we have installed the following: Fully remanufactured 3.4L 5VZE V-6 Dual overhead cam engine at 264009 miles (136K on engine). Rebuilt transmission at 344321 miles (56K on rebuild). Transmission Oil Cooler installed for towing. 33&quot; KO2 tires with Level 8 wheels. Toyota Tundra brake retrofit kit for added brake stability. OME 2883 front coil set, 2891 rear coil set, 60028 Nitrocharger Sport rear shock N86, 90004 Nitrocharger Sport front shock with lift pucks for about a 2&quot; mild lift. This 4 Runner is in very good working order with a few items needing attention: 1.) Wheels rub slightly when fully turned but does not cause any issue with function of the truck. A bit or trimming on the wheel molding would likely fix this issue. 2.) Possible electrical short going to rear window because the window does not go up or down so my guess is its got a broken wire. 3.) Front seats are totally shot. Will need new seats or just go with the covers like I do. 4.) 30yr old paint gloss is chipped and base coat is exposed. Its extremely reliable and starts every time no issues. All major mechanical components fully functional.
