This is a very original 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 that has been treated with care for many years. It has not been modified, raced, or cut up. It is a genuine survivor that still carries its complete VR4 personality twin-turbo power, all wheel drive, four wheel steering, active aero, and the classic 6-speed manual. The car has about 230,000 miles and a clean title. It has had two owners before me, and I have owned it since 2013. It is all stock except for a Pioneer head unit, and I still have the original Mitsubishi radio. It also includes original manuals, three keys, keyless entry, and some service records. Mechanical: -The car starts and drives, and once it is running it is smooth and eager. -The transmission is solid with no grinding or slipping. -The clutch works but feels heavy and will need attention at some point. -The engine runs well with no overheating, but there is a small oil leak and a little bit of smoke. -The VR4 systems AWD, 4WS, and Active Aero all work. The rear spoiler occasionally hesitates but does engage. -Brakes, tires, battery, and oil have been done recently. -Timing belt is due. The interior is complete and original. The driver's seat leather is worn and needs reupholstery, and the shifter area trim needs attention. The dashboard and gauges are in good shape and fully functional. Power windows, lights, AC, and electronics work. Rear seats and headliner are clean. The exterior presents well for its age. The paint still has a nice shine, and the body is straight with no dents. There are a few small paint chips and a small rust spot near the fuel filler area. Headlights, bumpers, window seals, and spoiler are in good shape. This is not a quick flip car and not intended for someone expecting a perfect VR4 to daily drive. It is for someone who knows exactly what these cars area rare, complicated, iconic Mitsubishi that rewards someone willing to restore it. This VR4 is a solid, honest foundation with all original systems.
