If you're searching for a 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV Premium for sale in San Diego, CA, this gray-on-luxury full-size SUV at Siry Motors San Diego deserves your full attention. Stocked at an internet price of $28,999, this is one of the most compelling deals you'll find on a loaded, full-size American luxury SUV in Southern California. With 115,392 miles on a proven 6.2-liter V8 platform, this Escalade ESV is built to keep rolling and it still commands every room it enters. ===== About This 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV Premium ===== The 2016 Escalade ESV Premium trim sits near the very top of Cadillac's lineup, meaning this vehicle left the factory with nearly every available comfort, safety, and technology feature from that model year. The extended wheelbase ESV body adds valuable rear-seat legroom and cargo space over the standard Escalade, making it ideal for families, road trips, or anyone who simply refuses to compromise on space. At 115,392 miles, this truck is well into its long-haul phase and that's not a concern with the 6.2L Vortec engine under the hood, which is widely known among enthusiasts and mechanics alike for its durability well past the 150,000-mile mark. ===== 2016 Cadillac Escalade ESV Performance and Engine ===== ==== 6.2-Liter Flex Fuel V8 with 8-Speed Automatic ==== The heart of this Escalade ESV is a 6.2-liter flex-fuel V8 engine paired with a smooth 8-speed automatic transmission a combination that produces around 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque in real-world driving. The 8-speed automatic was a significant upgrade over the older 6-speed units, delivering better highway fuel efficiency and noticeably smoother power delivery. The flex-fuel capability means this vehicle can run on E85 ethanol or standard gasoline, giving San Diego drivers flexibility at the pump. The 4WD drivetrain adds confidence whether you're navigating the Cajon Pass, hauling gear out to the desert near Borrego Springs, or simply merging onto the I-5 in heavy traffic. The Escalade's Magnetic Ride Control suspension standard on the Premium trim reads road conditions in real time and adjusts damping within milliseconds, delivering a ride that feels far more composed than you'd expect from a vehicle this large. ===== Cadillac Escalade ESV Features and Interior ===== ==== What the Premium Trim Includes ==== The Premium trim level brings a long list of standard features that still impress today. Expect a tri-zone automatic climate control system, heated and ventilated front seats, a heated second-row bench, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering column, and a Bose premium audio system. The CUE infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity keeps you connected on every drive from Mission Valley to Carlsbad. The ESV's extended body means the third row actually fits adult passengers comfortably a genuine rarity in the full-size SUV segment. Rear passengers get their own climate controls and USB ports, while the cargo area behind the third row is still usable for everyday errands. The power-folding third row makes transforming the cabin from passenger mode to cargo mode effortless. Safety features on the Premium include a surround-view camera system, lane departure warning, forward collision alert, and a safety alert driver seat tech that rivals many newer vehicles on the road today. ===== Cadillac Escalade ESV Reliability and Ownership ===== The 2016 Escalade generation riding on GM's K2XX platform represents a significant maturity leap over earlier models. The 6.2L L86 engine in this vehicle uses Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation) to improve highway efficiency, and when maintained properly, these engines routinely surpass 200,000 miles without major issues. The 8L90 8-speed transmission paired with it has a solid track record as well. Owners o>
