This 2012 Volkswagen Touareg TDI has 127,862 miles (low miles for a diesel) and is in very good condition. The 3.0L turbo diesel V6 with 8-speed automatic gets excellent fuel economy for an SUV. The black exterior and interior look sharp together. This SUV offers German engineering with practical daily driving comfort. Perfect for someone wanting diesel efficiency without sacrificing space or capability. As for the condition: The hood has a few dings from a falling branch in my driveway and the front passenger side door bears the mark of a wind-swept car door from the teenager parked next to me at the grocery store. However, the car presents itself well. The interior is near perfect, with a small (repaired) tear in the driver's seat being the only notable defect. Brakes and rear struts were recently replaced. Tires are at about half life. Regularly serviced with high quality Pentosin oil. Everything works as it should and the engine and transmission are strong. I used it occasionally to tow a 3400-pound camper, which is less than half of its rated towing capacity of 7200 pounds! (Yes, this thing is a beast!) It was used sparingly as a tow vehicle and it never had to work too hard when it was. There are many, many, many miles of dependable service left in this one!
