Bought in 2005, this truck hauled a 5th wheel camper for family trips and was my commuter vehicle for 18 years. Since I got something newer, it's been mostly parked except for Home Depot lumber trips, and I'm tired of paying insurance on something just sitting there. I think it's got at least 5 dents, two from the tree it's under dropping limbs on it--one in the hood and one in the roof just above the windshield--then one in the front bumper, one in a rear panel, and maybe the worst one is just behind the front driver's side tire well. I power-washed the pecan-tree muck off it and I see some rust pocks here and there. But, still runs great. Had it at the dealership recently for an oil/filter change and they said it's looking good. It's a diesel so I've always kept good oil in it and good engine air filters. Has newish tires and batteries. I do hear the power steering whine in it recently.
