1995 NAS Land Rover Defender convertible, build 2983. I purchased from the original owner in Sept 2024. The original owner, as you can see through the carfax, used the car as his daily driver for years. Around 2008 he swapped out the original engine with a 1997 Range Rover HSE engine, which is a 4.6L V8 Pursuit putting out about 300 HP, which is plenty for this truck. That engine now has about 50,000 miles on it, which you can trace from the carfax.  Original owner also did a lot of work over the years including rebuilding the transmission, installing a Holley sniper electronic fuel injection system, auxiliary fuel tank, custom upholstered black leather seating, repainted in original coniston green, powder coated rollcage and original LR wheels, 2 inch old man emu lift, $5k badger coachworks full soft top, LED headlights and taillights, off road tires.  The original owner had a custom exhaust without cats, so I replaced the entire exhaust from manifolds on down in January 2025 at a cost of $4k.  I also replaced all the shocks and tie rods and fluids. The truck obviously has its share of cosmetic wear, but it runs and drives great all things considered, the original owner really cherished the truck. I also have the original radio, and the original forward facing rear bench seat, which was also custom covered in black leather. Happy to talk further about the truck any time.
