Bodies were handcrafted in Turin, Italy, then flown to Detroit for final assembly with Cadillac's engineering. Under the direction of Sergio Pininfarina, the design blended Italian flair with American luxury, resulting in a timeless, sophisticated two-seater roadster. The 1993 model year stands out as the best of the breed: it received the powerful 4.6L Northstar V8 engine (delivering around 290-295 hp), refined suspension, improved traction control, and a more competitive driving experienceessentially the car the Allante was always meant to be.
