Up for sale is our garage kept 2008 RAV4 limited with a V-6 engine. As you can see from the 2 photos it has rusted through some of the rear suspension sub frame. Couldn't pass PA insp.with those 2 spots. Might run for quite a while in current condition but no guarantee. Apparently a common issue with these. There are aftermarket subframes available around a grand last time I checked incl.control arms, bushings &amp; bolts. See pic. We just didn't want to put the $ into it for its age. We love the car. It's my wife's daily driver. We've owned it for almost 3 years. Previous 2 owners (same family-mother then daughter owned it) garage kept this car as well. Replaced &amp; added many parts to bring it up to where we wanted the condition to be. It's very dependable &amp; in great shape otherwise. Rear door swings open rather than lift hatch which is nice in garage. Has its dings, dents &amp; scratches normal for its age. We've driven it all over including southern Texas last summer. Great gas mileage. Parts replaced or added in the last few years are as follows: front &amp; rear brakes/rotors, rear shocks &amp; sway bar, serpentine belt, 3 out of 4 calipers, headlight &amp; fog lens housings, headlight,fog &amp; interior light bulbs all changed to LED, rear bumper protector changed, class 3 two inch trailer hitch added to use for bike rack, replaced cargo &amp; floor carpet mats with OEM Toyota, added high resolution rubberized stub antenna, replaced all wipers regularly, replaced all side window weather strip seals, replaced oil/filter every 5000 miles as well rotating tires, replaced cabin/engine air filters yearly, undercoated yearly, replaced battery, water pump &amp; belt, tires replaced 8/25 with 4 wheel alignment done, A/C system charged-7/25. It's priced to sell so work can be done on subframe. Sold price range on these is $5,400 to $13,000! Honestly it shouldn't need anything else. Serious inquiries only.
