2006 GMC Sierra 1500 6.0 VortecMAXX paired to a 4L70 transmission with only 57,000 miles. No accidents. Body is in fair condition. Engine and transmission are golden. Don't expect it to be perfect. It's a 20 year old truck that's spent its entire life so far in the rust belt. With that being said, The frame has had some work done to it due to a gap between the frame and the gas tank where salt likes to hide on these GMT-800s. Holland Frame did the job and verified that the truck is in good and safe condition. I occasionally towed with this truck and have never had issues when doing so. Heaviest I've towed is about 4500lbs. Truck originally spent its entire life in Chicago until I got ahold of it in 2023 with 47K miles. It had mechanical and cosmetic problems, but since I wanted to learn more about DIY repairs I focused mostly on the mechanical side of things. Some repairs I did, other repairs I've sent to local shops. Current mechanical cons: Driver side CV Axle boot is torn, causing some grease to come out. Ball joints are needed due to dry rot. Pitman arm is loose causing the alignment to be slightly off. If I have the time and if the weather gets a little warmer, I'll see about doing the repairs myself. I don't have room for it anymore and Uncle Sam wants a paycheck from me soon. So I'm gonna let her go. Beautiful Regency interior done by the previous owner. Seats are super comfortable. Only thing I did to the interior is install a Bluetooth stereo. Would like to get this into the hands of someone experienced with auto body repair or learning about DIY body repairs. This truck has so much life left in her. I can't type in all the details I want to place, so I recommend checking out the ad on Craigslist as it has a lot more details there than what I can put here.
