This 2002 Toyota Corolla is not running properly at the moment. It can idle, and literally drive down the street idling, but as soon as you give it some gas it shuts off. A lot of times it idles for a little bit then shuts off, sometimes it can sustain an idle for longer. I had a mobile mechanic look at it and they thought it was the fuel pump. So I replaced the fuel pump, regulator, filter, strainer, MAF sensor, crankshaft position sensor, put new fuel injectors in it, new idle position sensor, 2 new ignition coils, and cleaned the throttle body. However, the issue still persists so I'm not interested in solving it. This car would be perfect for someone who knows how to fix cars or is interested in getting fixed. It has 3 basically brand new Hankook tires that I rode for only about a month before it had it's issue. The AC works. Has a radio that works. Has 2 new ignition oils. The other issues it has are obviously the paint, dents on the front hood and rear. The front right passenger door lock works from the inside but if you try to open it with the key from the outside it doesn't lift the lock up all the way so it doesn't open. Also, the trunk leaks, but all the water goes down into the bottom by the spare tire (and drains out because I took the plug at the bottom out). It doesn't leak any water on anything you would store in the inside of the trunk strangely enough. It also uses a lot of oil. The windshield wiper fluid squirter doesn't work. I owned this car for about 16 years and took good care of it giving it regular oil changes. Let me know if you're interested or have any questions!
